Israeli Health Ministry Warns of Rabid Dog in Northern West Bank Settlement
The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued a warning about a rabid dog found in the settlement of Barta'a in the northern West Bank. The dog, described as a medium-sized mixed breed with black and white coloring, was confirmed to have rabies. Authorities have identified 13 individuals who were exposed to the infected dog and have directed them to receive preventive rabies treatment.
The Ministry urges anyone who had contact with the dog or whose pets may have come into contact with it or other stray animals in the area between June 6 and July 2 to urgently contact the Hadera Health Office by phone or visit the nearest health office to their residence. This alert aims to prevent further spread of the disease and ensure timely medical intervention.
