Israeli Police Arrest Two Suspects in Golan Heights Double Murder After Chase and Shootout

Israeli police officers from the Northern District arrested two main suspects overnight in connection with a double murder in the Golan Heights. During an undercover operation in the village of Yarka, officers spotted a motorcycle rider firing at another individual, seriously wounding him. The police initiated a chase, returning fire, and apprehended the suspect, who was identified as wanted for the double murder. A stolen Glock pistol was found on the motorcycle. A second suspect was arrested in a separate operation at the scene, using a police vehicle. Israel Police Commissioner Danni Levi praised the operation as an exemplary display of determination, courage, and engagement.
