Dor Micha Joins M.S. Ashdod, Moves to Israel's Second Division for First Time
After concluding his tenure with Beitar Jerusalem at the end of the 2025/2026 season, 34-year-old midfielder Dor Micha has signed a two-year contract with M.S. Ashdod. This move marks Micha's first time playing in Israel's Liga Leumit, the country's second division, as he joins Ashdod following their recent relegation.
Micha has an extensive career in Israeli football, having played for top clubs including Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and most recently Beitar Jerusalem. He left Beitar after failing to reach an agreement on his future with the club. Since joining Beitar in 2023, Micha made 105 appearances, scored six goals, and provided 20 assists.
Now, Micha aims to leverage his experience to help M.S. Ashdod regain their place in the Israeli Premier League. His signing represents a significant acquisition for the club as they prepare for the upcoming season in the second tier of Israeli football.
