Gymnastics Coach Yevgeny Yordanov Indicted for Sexual Offenses Against Two Minors

The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against 51-year-old gymnastics coach Yevgeny Yordanov from Kiryat Ono. He is charged with committing indecent acts against two girls under the age of 16 whom he coached on the apparatus gymnastics national team. According to the indictment, between 2018 and 2019, Yordanov allegedly performed these acts during regular training sessions on two separate occasions. The charges specify that he abused his position of responsibility over the minors during this period.

These allegations emerged following an earlier indictment filed about two weeks ago against Yordanov for multiple sexual offenses involving two other underage gymnasts he coached. The current case adds to the ongoing legal proceedings against him for abusing minors under his supervision in the gymnastics team.
