Kiryat Ono coach arrested on suspicion of sexual offenses against another minor

Police in the Misgavim district arrested a 51-year-old fitness and gymnastics coach from Kiryat Ono on Tuesday on suspicion of serious sexual offenses against a woman now in her 20s, allegedly committed when she was a minor.

The new arrest comes after indictments had already been filed against him in connection with sexual offenses involving two other minors, raising suspicion of a repeated pattern of abuse. The current case began after a complaint was filed by the woman, who told investigators the offenses took place several years ago, when she was still under 18.

After gathering evidence and findings, police arrested the suspect at his home in Kiryat Ono and took him for questioning at the Misgavim station. He is expected to be brought later on Tuesday to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a remand hearing, where police will seek an extension of his detention.
