In parallel, his wife was also taken in for questioning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime.

After a lengthy investigation, a prosecutor’s statement was filed today (Wednesday) against the 51-year-old Kiryat Ono resident, on suspicion of committing a series of serious sexual offenses over several years. An indictment is expected to be filed against the suspect in the coming days.

The investigation was opened following a complaint filed by a minor, who alleged that the suspect had committed serious sexual offenses against her repeatedly over an extended period. Upon receiving the report, police began collecting evidence and examining the findings. As part of the investigation, the suspect was arrested pursuant to a court order, and is suspected of rape, indecent acts, extortion by threats and incitement of a minor. His wife, 48, was also questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime.

At the conclusion of the investigation, a prosecutor’s statement was filed, and his remand was extended until next Sunday. The prosecution said it intends to file a serious indictment against him in the coming days. This is not an isolated case of sexual offenses, and only about a week ago the Haifa District Court sentenced Zarabali Ivanov to 16 years in prison for a series of serious sexual offenses. Ivanov exploited his position as an employer and committed the offenses against young and minor female workers employed at his flower business. In addition to the prison sentence, he was given suspended sentences and significant financial compensation.
