Roi Fritsky Signs Two-Year Deal with Maccabi Ramat Gan Basketball Club

Roi Fritsky, a 23-year-old guard standing 1.94 meters tall, has signed a two-year contract with Maccabi Ramat Gan. Fritsky began the previous season with Hapoel Jerusalem before transferring to Hapoel Galil Elyon near the season's end. He expressed excitement about joining Maccabi Ramat Gan, praising the club's family atmosphere, rich history of developing young players, and its focus on building a team with a strong Israeli character aimed at competing in the upper playoff bracket.

Coach Elad Hassin highlighted Fritsky as a highly talented young player and an important part of the team's rebuilding process, which combines experienced athletes with promising young talent. Hassin emphasized that Fritsky fits the unique team culture they aim to cultivate.

Fritsky has progressed through Israel's youth national teams, including cadet, youth, and under-20 levels, alongside teammate Yonatan Atias. He also played with the senior national team in the pre-Olympic tournament ahead of the Paris 2024 Games. Last season, Fritsky appeared in 23 games for Jerusalem, averaging 9.7 minutes and 2.2 points per game, and played 4 games for Galil Elyon in relegation battles, averaging 17.5 minutes and 9.5 points per game. This will be his fifth season in the Israeli Premier League, having previously played for Elitzur Netanya and Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona, where he was named the league's breakthrough player in 2022.
