IDF Chief Visits Bofor Ridge, Urges Lebanese Army to Enforce Agreement
Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir visited the Bofor Ridge alongside Northern Command Chief Major General Rafi Milo. During the visit, they toured the area, conducted a situation assessment, descended to underground positions, and spoke with soldiers stationed there. Zamir described the Bofor Ridge as a strategically controlled area saturated with terrorist infrastructure. He emphasized that the Lebanese Army must fulfill its obligations under the historic agreement by working to clear the area of Hezbollah militants. Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces will continue to act decisively to eliminate threats originating from Lebanese territory and remain prepared to launch a swift offensive should the ceasefire be violated.
