Elderly Pedestrian Killed in Hod Hasharon, Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Tel Aviv Crash
An approximately 80-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Ramatayim Road in Hod Hasharon on Sunday. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived to find the man unconscious and without pulse or breathing. Despite immediate medical efforts by paramedic Karam Araki and medics Idan Binder and Obeida Azem, he was pronounced dead at the scene due to critical injuries.
Earlier the same day, a motorcyclist in his 60s was seriously injured in a crash on Nachalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv. MDA teams provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting him to Ichilov Hospital. Paramedic Iman Jazmawi reported the rider was semi-conscious with a severe head injury. Bystanders called emergency services immediately after witnessing the accident. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in stable but serious condition.
