Elderly Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Car in Hod Hasharon
An approximately 80-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Ramatayim Road in Hod Hasharon on Sunday. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene to provide treatment and perform resuscitation efforts. Despite their attempts, the man was found unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics Karam Araki, Idan Binder, and Obeida Aazem described the incident as severe, noting the critical nature of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine its cause.
