Israeli Midfielder Yonatan Cohen Signs with Bangkok United in Thai League

Israeli midfielder Yonatan Cohen has officially signed with Bangkok United, marking the third overseas stop in his professional football career. Cohen joins the Thai club after leaving Hapoel Petah Tikva, where he scored four goals in 22 appearances during the previous season as the team returned to the Israeli Premier League.

Bangkok United finished fifth in the Thai League last season and features a mostly local roster supplemented by a few foreign players, including two Brazilians: Rivaldinho, son of former World Cup champion Rivaldo, and Felipe Santos, a former Hapoel Haifa player who is expected to finalize his contract soon. Cohen brings significant experience, having won three league titles and two cups with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Bnei Yehuda.
