Tiberias loans Ari Cohen from Hapoel Tel Aviv
Ironi Tiberias announced on Sunday that it has signed Ari Cohen on loan from Hapoel Tel Aviv for one season. The move continues the club’s summer rebuilding in the transfer market.
Cohen spent the second half of last season on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva. Tiberias had tracked him for a long time and wanted to bring him in as early as January, but salary-cap and budget-control restrictions prevented the deal from going through.
He is Tiberias’s fourth signing this summer, after Gad Amos, Gal Maatok and foreign midfielder Chris Kouakou. The club is now still looking for another foreign attacking reinforcement.
That search comes after the departures of Stanislav Bilenkyi and Peter Michael from the squad.
