Anan Chalili Nears Record Transfer to Inter Milan from Saint-Étienne

Anan Chalili, the Israeli winger currently playing for French club Saint-Étienne, has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan. Although no official offer has yet been submitted, significant progress is being made in negotiations between the two clubs. Previously, Saint-Étienne demanded 25 million euros for Chalili, a fee that reportedly blocked a potential move to Napoli. If the transfer goes through at that price, Chalili's former club Maccabi Haifa stands to receive 2.6 million euros as part of the deal. Chalili, who grew up in Maccabi Haifa's youth system, is currently participating in Saint-Étienne's preseason and scored in their first friendly match. The team is scheduled to play another preseason game against Steaua Bucharest soon. The deal, if completed, would mark one of the largest transfers involving an Israeli footballer to date.
