Jerusalem Man Indicted for Espionage for Iranian Agents in Exchange for Money
The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against 21-year-old Eli Lavon from Jerusalem for espionage on behalf of Iran. According to the indictment, between late 2025 and early 2026, Lavon established contact with individuals identifying themselves as "Sina" and "Alexander," who operated on behalf of Iranian intelligence. Lavon carried out tasks for them, including photographing the central bus station in Jerusalem and documenting a building in the Bukharim neighborhood. He received monetary compensation from these agents for his activities.
