First signing for 2026/27: Malik Hall joins Hapoel HaEmek
Malik Hall starred for Ironi Kiryat Ata during the 2025/2026 season before leaving Israel because of the war with Iran. Today, Thursday, Hapoel HaEmek announced that the forward, 2.00 m and 25 years old, will return to Israel next season after signing with the club.
"We wanted Malik already last summer, and we are very happy that he is joining us," said Sharon Avrahami. "Hall fits the club’s spirit in talent, ability and character, and he is a player with an excellent personality and very high potential, who has proven that he can be a leading player in the league. This is our first signing this year, and it is a good and significant one. We believe Malik will lead our club forward."
As recalled, last season with Kiryat Ata, Hall posted outstanding averages of 15.8 points per game, shooting 58.0% from the field, 47.6% from three-point range and 64.4% from the free-throw line, along with 9.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per night. Before that, he played in the 2024/2025 season in the G League, in what was his first season after leaving Michigan State.
