Israeli Border Police Foil Fake Arms Deal in Nabi Elias, Arrest Two Suspects
Israeli Border Police and the Central Unit of the Israel Police thwarted a staged arms deal yesterday in the village of Nabi Elias. Two suspects arrived at the meeting point and handed over firearms before the forces raided the scene. One suspect was immediately arrested, while the other attempted to flee in his vehicle, ramming a police car in the process. Officers fired at the fleeing vehicle's tires, successfully stopping it and arresting the second suspect. The operation resulted in the seizure of two Carlo-type firearms, with no injuries reported.
