Two Men Charged for Throwing Stun Grenades Near Residential Doors in Ashdod
The Israeli prosecution has filed two indictments against Daniel Davidov, 48, and Hanania Chen Mirilashvili, 27, both residents of Holon. The charges stem from incidents that occurred several weeks ago in Ashdod, where the two allegedly threw stun grenades near the doors of residential apartments. According to the indictment, Mirilashvili waited on a scooter while Davidov went up to the first floor of a residential building and threw a stun grenade close to an apartment door. The grenade exploded near the apartment while the residents were inside. The two then fled the scene on the scooter. The following night, they reportedly repeated the act by throwing another stun grenade near a different apartment door, which also exploded nearby. The defendants face charges including carrying weapons and attempted property damage using explosives.
