Israeli Teen Critically Injured in Water Sports Accident in Bulgaria
A 17-year-old Israeli boy was critically injured in a water sports accident in Burgas, Bulgaria, on the Black Sea coast. Two other Israeli teenagers sustained minor injuries in the incident. According to Bulgarian reports, six Israeli tourists were riding a "banana boat" towed by a jet ski at the beach in the town of Aheloy. The jet ski operator was unlicensed. During the activity, the tourists fell into the sea, resulting in injuries to some of them. Local authorities confiscated the jet ski and detained the operator for investigation.
