Yehoshua Passes Medical, Set for Beersheba Salary Package
Hapoel Beersheba is on the verge of a double signing. Niv Yehoshua underwent medical tests at the club and is expected to officially sign his contract with the team today (Thursday).
The 21-year-old midfielder from Maccabi Petah Tikva will sign a three-year deal with an option for two more years, and he is expected to earn about 170,000 euros per season. In recent years, Yehoshua has become one of the leading players at Maccabi Petah Tikva, where he recorded 8 goals and added 5 assists in 98 appearances in all competitions.
At the same time, goalkeeper Marco Wolf will land in Israel today and will also undergo medical tests on Sunday, ahead of his signing with the team. Beersheba will pay 800,000 shekels for Wolf, who is expected to sign for two years with an option for one additional season and receive about 160,000 shekels. Last season, Wolf made 36 appearances in the National League for Maccabi Petah Tikva, conceded 42 goals and kept nine clean sheets.
