Prosecutors Seek to Bar Orich from the Prime Minister’s Office and Security Facilities
The prosecution asked the Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday to bar Prime Minister’s adviser Yonatan Urich from the Prime Minister’s Office and from any security facility where classified information may be kept. The prosecution also asked to prohibit him from having any direct or indirect contact with those involved in the so-called Bild affair, including witnesses and suspects in the case.
This is an amendment to the security indictment filed against Eli Feldstein and Ari Rosenfeld in the affair. The amended indictment includes Urich as a defendant on charges of passing on classified information with intent to harm state security, passing on classified information, possession of classified information, and destruction of evidence. According to the prosecution, the filing of the indictment was approved by Attorney General Gali Baharav Miara and State Attorney Amit Isman.
