Child Alhanan Nahorai Almaliah Passes Away After Battling Illness, Singer Shmulik Sukot Shares Final Request

Alhanan Nahorai Almaliah, a nine-year-old boy from Ramat D in Beit Shemesh, passed away on Tuesday evening after a prolonged battle with a severe illness. Despite widespread prayers for his recovery, Alhanan succumbed to his condition, leaving behind a legacy of courage and faith.

Throughout his illness, Alhanan was comforted by visits from various singers, including the renowned Hasidic artist Shmulik Sukot, whom he deeply admired. A video recently surfaced showing Sukot overcome with emotion as he recounted Alhanan’s final wish. With only two hours left to live, Alhanan’s father asked him what he wanted, and the boy requested that Shmulik come to sing for him.

Sukot described the experience as profoundly challenging, saying, "This is the hardest thing my soul can endure. I pray to God to give me strength, and that is why I came into this world." After singing Alhanan’s favorite songs for several hours, including "Look to the Sky," "Hero of the World," and "Together with Mom and Dad," Sukot was unable to continue singing due to overwhelming emotion. He expressed deep sorrow and a spiritual connection to the boy, promising never to forget him.

Alhanan’s passing has left a deep void, but his story highlights the power of faith, love, and music in the face of suffering. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
