Children's Choir Mishalot Revives Shmulik Sukot's Hit 'Talk to Him' with All-Vocal Performance
The popular children's choir Mishalot, led by musician Daniel Yeshay, has released a new vocal-only rendition of Shmulik Sukot's hit song "Talk to Him". This release coincides with the Three Weeks period (Bein HaMetzarim), a challenging time for Jewish music producers who seek creative vocal solutions suitable for the somber mood.
Unlike many modern productions that rely on artificial intelligence and digital effects, Mishalot's version uses exclusively human voices without any instrumental accompaniment or technological shortcuts. This approach creates an authentic, emotional, and pure sound that aligns with the spirit of the Three Weeks.
Originally written and composed by hitmaker Bentzi Stein, "Talk to Him" has become a major anthem of encouragement during this period, especially in Shmulik Sukot's original performance. Daniel Yeshay's meticulous arrangement and production bring a fresh interpretation to the song, enriched by the harmonious voices of the choir children and backing vocals from Yeshay himself, Shlomo Chaim Chatan, and Yitzhak L.
The recording features soloists Itamar Hassan, Eitan Rafael Rafalov, Hillel Atlan, Harel David, Morad Shmuel Kalfon, and Shmarya Gandelman, all recorded at the Emunim studio. The final product is a vocal gem that preserves the song's deep message and offers listeners a high-quality, heartfelt soundtrack for the Three Weeks.
This release follows Shmulik Sukot's launch of a vocal compilation album, continuing to warm listeners' hearts with meaningful Jewish music.
