Joncey Jenkins to Continue with Hapoel Rishon LeZion for 2026/27 Season

Joncey Jenkins, the 24-year-old basketball player, will remain with Hapoel Rishon LeZion for the 2026/2027 season, the club officially announced on June 30, 2026. Jenkins joined the team late in the previous season and impressed with his athletic abilities, energy, and capacity to create exciting basketball moments. The club highlighted his hunger for success and his potential to further develop within the team.

Standing 1.92 meters tall, Jenkins played five regular-season games last year, averaging 9.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. During the playoff series against Hapoel Tel Aviv, he maintained similar statistics with 8.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game. This past season marked Jenkins' first experience playing in Europe. Prior to joining Rishon LeZion, he excelled in the Portuguese league with Vitória SC, averaging 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.
