Benny Gantz Launches Unprecedented Attack on Yair Lapid Over Political Allegations

Benny Gantz, leader of the Blue and White party, issued a rare and sharp public rebuke against Yair Lapid, head of the Yachdav party, following Lapid's declaration that he would not join a government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Lapid accused Gantz of orchestrating political alliances as part of a "Netanyahu conspiracy" to create satellite parties aimed at siphoning votes from the opposition bloc.

Blue and White responded strongly, condemning Lapid for his refusal to join the unity government formed immediately after the October 7 terror attacks. They declared the end of an era in Israeli politics and pledged to form a broad Zionist unity government capable of addressing the significant challenges facing Israel both domestically and internationally.
