Prosecutor Joins Netanyahu's Defense in Warning Five-Day Trial Schedule Is Nearly Impossible

Judith Tirosh, the prosecutor in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trial, expressed concerns during a hearing about accelerating the trial pace. She stated that conducting the trial over five days is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for both the prosecution and defense teams. Tirosh highlighted that the trial challenges the legal limits set by the Hours of Work and Rest Law, noting that as a senior official in the prosecution, she often has to ask staff to work in violation of this law due to the heavy demands of the case. She also mentioned that a four-day trial schedule has not yet been fully tested.
