ESPN analyst Charles Barkley showed no mercy: "We saw here the dumbest basketball team in the history of civilization. Wow. They had a 25-point lead, and they just took eight straight three-pointers. Listen, that was the worst-managed, stupidest basketball there is. Hey, when you blow a 25-point lead, the other team has to get help from you. The Spurs simply helped the Knicks win this game by making some of the dumbest plays I have ever seen on a basketball court."
