Noam Tekle Reflects on Big Brother Exit, Emphasizes Personal Growth and Future Plans
Noam Tekle, a content creator and social media star, finished in fifth place on the recent season of the Israeli reality show Big Brother. In his first interview since leaving the house, Tekle expressed satisfaction with his result despite initially hoping to win. He said, "I really wanted to win, but the real money is made outside," highlighting that reaching a respectable position was what mattered most.
Tekle described a pivotal moment during the show's second phase when nine new contestants, including fellow content creator Danny, entered the house. This shift challenged Tekle's sense of security and made him feel cornered, which he described as a "slap in the face." This experience pushed him to reveal new emotional sides, including moments of vulnerability and tears, contrasting with his initial confidence at the start of the season.
Despite facing criticism about his authenticity, Tekle insisted he remained genuine and chose his battles carefully rather than engaging in all conflicts. He said, "I was very honest and authentic. I just didn’t get dragged into other people’s fights. I chose my own battles and said what was important to me."
After more than three months isolated from the outside world, Tekle admitted he missed his family deeply. He revealed that only his sister and father knew about his participation shortly before it began, while other family members and friends were kept in the dark. Upon exiting, his first priority was to reunite with his family, stating, "I just want injera and doro with the family, all together. That’s the happiest thing there is."
Tekle also touched on his complicated relationship with fellow contestant Eliran, noting that their initial friendship became less authentic and more strategic over time, leading him to seek connections with others he felt were more genuine. Though still processing his experience and not yet fully reconnected with his phone or social media, Tekle is determined to leverage his newfound exposure and said, "I’m coming out of here with wings. You’ll see me everywhere. I hope we conquer the world soon."
