Big Brother Contestant Eliran Biton Criticizes Winner Gal for Betrayal and Strategy
Eliran David Biton, who finished third in the recent season of Big Brother Israel, openly criticized the winner, Gal, immediately after the finale. While congratulating her on the victory, Eliran accused Gal of employing a deliberate strategy of playing the victim to gain sympathy and ultimately win the competition. He described how their relationship initially seemed genuine, with Gal being one of his few close connections inside the house, where he confided personal struggles to her.
However, Eliran claimed that once their friendship deteriorated, Gal began to use the most sensitive information he shared against him, delivering constant and personal verbal attacks. He said he had anticipated this betrayal, stating he "always waited for the sting" but chose to trust her because she was his only ally. Eliran expressed disappointment that during difficult times in the house, instead of support, he felt targeted by Gal.
Eliran also questioned how the audience could have voted Gal as the winner given that most housemates reportedly experienced her negatively. He found it hard to believe that "90 percent of the housemates" were mistaken about her character. According to him, those who did not align with Gal's approach were eliminated early, which he felt was the case with himself.
The interview was conducted by Serugim shortly after the Big Brother finale, highlighting the tensions and differing perspectives among contestants following the season's conclusion.
