Truck Overturns on Highway 6, Driver Rescued in Serious Condition
A truck overturned on Highway 6 near the Nesher interchange early Sunday morning, leaving the driver trapped inside. Emergency teams were dispatched at 07:17 to the scene between the Nesher and Shorak interchanges. Firefighters conducted a complex rescue operation to free the driver, a man in his mid-30s, who suffered multiple severe injuries. After being extricated, paramedics provided initial medical treatment and transported him to Kaplan Medical Center in serious condition. Incident commander Chief Fire Officer Shalom Davidovich described the rescue as challenging due to the nature of the injuries and the driver's entrapment. Magen David Adom paramedic Yosef Amtirat reported that the driver was semi-conscious when found and received urgent care on site before evacuation.
