Gal Rubin Wins Big Brother Israel 2026 After Intense Season
Gal Rubin, a mother of six from Rishon LeZion and former contestant on Survivor, was announced as the winner of Big Brother Israel 2026 during the live finale broadcast on Saturday night by Reshet. Rubin triumphed over four other finalists: 32-year-old Omer Tzipori from Ra'anana, 36-year-old Eliran Biton from Rishon LeZion, 24-year-old Noam Tekle from Ashkelon, and 27-year-old Rafaela Twina from Tel Aviv.
This season marked several firsts in the show's history. For the first time, the housemates remained inside the Big Brother house during Israel's Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Independence Day. Additionally, the season featured ongoing tensions related to Iran, continuing a theme from the previous season.
Another notable change was in hosting duties. Kevin Rubin joined as a co-host to replace Guy Zuaretz, who was simultaneously hosting Survivor abroad. Liron Weitzman led the main broadcasts, while Kevin Rubin appeared during eviction episodes.
