Warm, Pleasant Saturday Before a Gradual Rise in Heat
Weather forecasters say Saturday will be partly cloudy to clear, and the recent warming trend will pause for now. Temperatures are expected to hold close to seasonal norms across most areas, which is likely to keep beaches busy during the day.
On Sunday, conditions are also expected to stay partly cloudy to clear, but heat stress will increase. Temperatures will edge up slightly, especially in the hills and inland areas.
That warming will continue into Monday, when another small rise is forecast, again mainly in the mountains and inland. In those areas, temperatures are expected to become higher than usual for the season.
The forecast lists Jerusalem at 17-29 degrees, Tel Aviv-Yafo 23-29, Haifa 23-28, Kiryat Shmona 20-34, Safed 18-29, Afula 21-33, Ashdod 23-29, Beersheba 21-32, Mitzpe Ramon 18-32, and Eilat 26-39.
