Hezbollah Says Israel-Lebanon Framework Deal Does Not Bind It
Hezbollah sources rejected the framework agreement signed between Israel and Lebanon, telling Qatar’s Al Arabi channel that the group will accept only a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.
According to the sources, “large parts of the people” will also reject the framework agreement. They said the authorities had effectively given the occupation a mandate to remain on Lebanese land.
The remarks referred to the framework signed in Washington, which Hezbollah said is rejected and does not bind the “resistance.” No further response from Israel or Lebanon was included in the report.
