Two swimmers hospitalized after drowning incident near Beit Yanai

Two people were rescued after drowning at an unguarded beach near Beit Yanai and taken to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom’s 101 emergency center at 2:16 p.m.

Medics treated the two on site before evacuating them to the hospital. One victim was a 16-year-old boy, whose condition was described as moderate.

The second victim was a 30-year-old man, whose condition was described as mild. The report did not say how the drowning occurred or whether anyone else was involved.
