Partly Cloudy, Hotter Than Usual Weather Forecast for Friday and Weekend
On Friday, most of Israel is expected to see partly cloudy to clear skies, with temperatures rising to above seasonal norms, especially in the interior, the Shephelah and the south. Along the coastal plain, humidity will remain very high.
During the night, skies are forecast to be clear and pleasant. In the central mountains and the Negev, conditions should be more comfortable for travel, while the coastal plain will stay muggy and warm.
The warming trend is set to continue on Saturday with no significant change. Beachgoers are expected to be the main weekend crowd, and afternoon winds will strengthen slightly, blowing from the northwest along the coast.
In the south, dusty conditions may develop because of stronger winds that could lift dust in open areas. Forecast temperatures listed for selected cities were Jerusalem 19-29, Tel Aviv-Yafo 24-29, Haifa 25-27, Afula 24-32, Ashdod 23-29, Ashkelon 24-26, Beersheba 21-32, and Mitzpe Ramon 17-29.
