Avinatan Or, who was abducted to Gaza on October 7th along with his then-girlfriend Noa Argamani, has spoken for the first time about their separation. In a recent interview with Ilana Dayan on the program "Uvda" on Keshet 12, Or addressed his relationship with Argamani, revealing that they broke up several months ago. "We both went through a lot in these two years, each in his own way," Or stated. "Things that might have fit before don't fit anymore, and it's okay that it ended. Each person has moved on in their own way."
Or and Argamani were kidnapped together from the Nova music festival on the morning of October 7th. Argamani was rescued from Hamas captivity in Operation Arnon in June 2024, while Or remained captive for a longer period. After his return to Israel, the couple continued their lives, but eventually separated.
Despite the breakup, Or shared that he is currently in a better place in his life after the difficult ordeal. "I'm okay and life is good for me. After a period at the bottom, I feel like I'm at the peak," he said.
