Osem Launches Banana-Flavored Bamba for U.S. Walmart Stores Only

Osem has introduced a new Bamba variant, Banana Bamba, for the American market only. The snack, sold as Bamba Peanut Butter Puffs Banana, keeps the familiar peanut butter puff format but adds a banana flavor, combining what the company describes as Bamba’s salty crunch with a sweet banana taste.

The product was announced in early June on Osem’s U.S. Instagram account. According to the post, it is available only in selected Walmart branches and is not sold on Walmart’s website, which means it cannot currently be ordered for delivery. The article says this limited distribution suggests a trial marketing rollout that could later expand.

A sponsored reel by mommy blogger Elin Caply showed her tasting the snack with her children and calling it, in her words, “the perfect snack” for their home. She also highlighted that it is made with simple ingredients and contains no GMO, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or artificial preservatives.

Despite the U.S. launch, Osem has no plans at this stage to bring the banana-flavored Bamba to Israel. The article says the company may be testing the combination with American consumers first, while keeping the original and better-known flavors for the local market.
