Papa John's and Osem Launch Unconventional Chip-Flavored Pizzas in Israel
Papa John's Israel and Osem have collaborated to introduce a unique culinary creation: chip-flavored pizzas that replace traditional tomato sauce with Papa John's signature sauces and are topped with a mix of ingredients including new flavored chips from Osem. The launch features three pizza varieties, each based on a different Papa John's sauce, garlic parmesan, honey mustard, and sweet chili, paired with matching flavored chips. The pizzas are priced at 94.90 shekels each and are available from August 4 to September 10 at Papa John's branches across Israel, alongside the new chip flavors now sold in supermarkets.
To provide an honest review, food blogger Gil Harel, now also a video reporter for Walla Food, sampled the pizzas with the editorial team. The combination has been described as both bizarre and intriguing, blending fast food elements in an unprecedented way. The launch aims to attract adventurous eaters looking for novel taste experiences, with a video review available for viewers.
This collaboration between two major Israeli food companies represents an innovative fusion of popular snack foods, potentially setting a new trend in the local fast food market.
