Actress, TV host, and fashion designer Kim Or Azulai has revealed the surprising inspiration behind the name of her firstborn son, Dylan Ziv, who was born in August 2026. In an Instagram Q&A session, Azulai shared with her followers that she decided on the name when she was just nine years old.

Azulai explained that at age nine, she watched the Israeli teen drama "Ha'Yi" (The Island) and was inspired by a character who was destined to save the world. She felt this was her son's destiny, leading her to name him Dylan Ziv, with the belief that he too will save the world.

"Ha'Yi," which premiered in September 2009, follows a group of teenagers from a shelter who are taken to a mysterious island. They discover they are the sole survivors of a global catastrophe caused by an asteroid impact on September 9, 2009. On the island, they learn that their leader, Tommy, played by Yon Tumarkin, is the "chosen one" prophesied to save humanity.

Azulai, who was born and raised in Rishon LeZion, began her entertainment career at a young age in successful teen series such as "Ha'Banim Ve'Ha'Banot," "Eilat," and "Spiders." She later took on dramatic roles in series like "Manayek." She served in the IDF theater and purchased her first apartment at age 20. In July 2025, Azulai married basketball player Yiftach Ziv, who plays for Hapoel Tel Aviv, in a star-studded wedding. The couple is now embarking on their journey into parenthood with their son, Dylan.
