Naftali Bennett said that Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria would be part of a future Palestinian autonomy, drawing sharp criticism. The remarks were made publicly and prompted angry reactions.
On the Israeli Channel 14 program “The Patriots,” panelist Yaki Adamker lashed out at Bennett, saying he was in “absolute hysteria and panic” because of the latest polling data. Adamker said Bennett was trying to outflank MK Gadi Eisenkot from the left and was willing to “sell everything” to do it.
Adamker also highlighted Bennett’s past as former head of the Yesha Council, arguing that his current positions are the opposite of what he stood for before. He addressed right-wing voters and warned that if anyone still plans to vote for Bennett in the upcoming election, they should understand that “as he is selling the settlement enterprise now, he will sell you too.”
Adamker’s attack portrayed Bennett as acting without principles and shifting his political stance for electoral reasons alone.
