Man Arrested for Alleged Rape of Teenager After Offering Motorcycle Ride

A 22-year-old man from Holon was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of raping a 15-year-old girl in his home. The incident allegedly began when he met the girl in a local garden and offered her a ride on an electric motorcycle. Police sought to extend his detention for eight days. The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court found sufficient suspicion of the alleged offenses and extended his detention until October 5. According to the girl's account, she was in the garden with friends on September 29 when she met the suspect. He offered her and her friends a ride on a Surron electric motorcycle, which they accepted. During her ride, the suspect claimed he forgot something at his home and needed to charge the motorcycle, so he took her there. Once at his home, he allegedly proposed playing "rock, paper, scissors," with the condition that he would kiss her if he won. Although she initially refused, he persisted until she agreed to a kiss. The girl stated that the suspect then made further sexual advances beyond the kiss and subsequently penetrated her. She reported that he then drove her home. The police received a report from Wolfson Hospital on Thursday regarding the girl's allegations. Officers met with her, and she provided a statement to the police that same day. Some medical examinations at the hospital did not reveal any injuries or signs of force. The girl identified the suspect through Instagram, as he had begun following her. During questioning, the suspect admitted to knowing the girl and claimed she told him she was 19 and came to his home willingly. He confirmed physical contact, including kissing and hugging. Investigators are seeking additional technological evidence, such as surveillance footage of the pair leaving the garden. The suspect was detained for questioning and is currently being held. The investigation is ongoing.
