  • The event took place at Sheba Medical Center after the holiday.
  • Students participated in Hakafot Shniyot celebrations.
  • The initiative aimed to provide light and kindness to the sick and wounded.

Hundreds of students from the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Givat Shmuel, led by their Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shraga Frochter, visited the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer after the holiday. The students came to dance and bring joy to the hospitalized patients, including the sick and wounded, as part of the Simchat Torah Hakafot Shniyot celebrations.

Elchanan Galat, CEO of the Center for Bnei Akiva Yeshivas and Ulpanot, who joined the event, stated, "It is a great merit to take part in the Hakafot Shniyot of the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva of Givat Shmuel." He added, "Just before the students return to their studies, they choose each year to leave their comfort zone and come to Sheba Hospital to dance, bring joy, and offer a moment of great light to the hospitalized, including IDF wounded who risked their lives for the people and State of Israel."

Galat further noted, "Under the leadership of Rabbi Shraga Frochter, hundreds of students and staff turn the joy of Torah into an act of kindness and mutual responsibility, giving us all a life lesson, the way to true joy is by making others happy."
