Bereaved Families Blast Reported Deal With Ultra-Orthodox Parties

Gadi Eisenkot, head of Yashar!, sharply criticized the reported arrangement between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Degel HaTorah chairman Moshe Gafni and Shas chairman Aryeh Deri. According to the report, the deal would advance several initiatives, including a political inquiry committee into October 7 and a Basic Law on Torah study, first published by ynet.

Eisenkot said, "Netanyahu, it's over. You are not worthy of the heavy price this nation has paid. Netanyahu is conducting a liquidation sale of the national interests of the State of Israel." His comments came amid growing anger over the scope of the alleged political bargain.

The October Council movement also condemned the reported deal, calling it not a political compromise but "blood profiteering." The group framed the arrangement as exploiting national tragedy for political gain.
