Zvi Yehezkeli, the Arab affairs commentator for i24NEWS, has presented a special segment for the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah on the website Kikar HaShabbat. Moving away from his usual focus on Iran, Hamas, and threats to Israel, Yehezkeli's segment delves into the weekly Torah portion, seeking to find the "light of the Torah" within the "darkness of the news" and exploring its relevance to the human heart.
The segment, titled "From East and West, Zvi Yehezkeli in a Special Corner for Simchat Torah," is available for viewing. The article also includes links to other related content concerning the Sukkot and Simchat Torah holidays, such as discussions on religious observances during Hakafot (circuit processions), weather forecasts for the holiday, and traditions related to priestly blessings and sustenance.
