The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a combat soldier has been removed from his unit after filming himself assaulting a Palestinian teenager. The soldier recorded himself holding the youth, whose brother had been injured in recent clashes, and addressed the boy's father in the video, saying, "Your son is here, hop, falling apart from blows, brother. Falling apart. You should come."

The incident occurred on Tuesday following a violent confrontation between settlers and Palestinian Bedouins near the village of Taybeh in the Binyamin region, located in Area B of the West Bank. The IDF stated that the soldier's actions were investigated and resulted in his removal from combat duty.
