  • A Palestinian man was killed by IDF fire in Yasuf during settler activity.
  • The IDF stated it fired in response to stone-throwing by Palestinians.
  • Palestinian sources claim settlers attacked homes with IDF accompaniment.
  • Four activists were attacked by settlers near Bethlehem.
  • Multiple other incidents of settler violence against Palestinians were reported.

A 51-year-old Palestinian man was shot and killed on Thursday in the West Bank town of Yasuf, central Samaria, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, settlers from a nearby outpost, accompanied by IDF forces, attacked homes in the town, and the army detained several residents during the incident. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a young Palestinian was injured by shrapnel from gunfire. The IDF stated that Palestinians threw stones at Israeli civilians on the outskirts of Yasuf and subsequently at IDF forces who arrived at the scene. The military said its forces dispersed the individuals and carried out a suspect arrest procedure that included firing at the stone-throwers, confirming that "hits were identified." The IDF also reported that forces were working to locate additional Palestinians involved in the stone-throwing. MDA reported that a 14-year-old Israeli boy was lightly injured and evacuated for treatment. Settler WhatsApp groups claimed Palestinians attacked a group of Jewish hikers and attempted to abduct the 14-year-old boy, a claim the IDF did not address. The police have opened an investigation into whether an attempt was made to pull the boy towards the village.

Earlier, the "Standing Together" movement reported that four of its activists were attacked by masked settlers in the village of Janat, near Bethlehem, and required medical attention. Two activists sustained head injuries and were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, with their condition described as light. Daniel Paldi, an activist with the movement, told Haaretz that the group arrived to assist villagers with olive harvesting when about 20 youths, mostly masked, attacked them with clubs, stones, and pepper spray. Paldi stated that settlers stole activists' phones and bags, and that the army arrived half an hour after the attack concluded.

In other incidents, a suspicious object attached to a Hamas flag was identified near the settlement of Talmon, central Samaria; it was later determined to be a dummy explosive. Settlers reportedly vandalized a Palestinian structure in Duma, near Nablus, and attacked a resident, stealing his property. In Deir Ibzi, near Ramallah, settlers allegedly used pepper spray against four Palestinians. Settlers also reportedly attacked Palestinian vehicles between Al-Muwaijar and Abu Falaḥ, and encroached on land in Al-Muwaijar. Near Mevo Dotan, settlers allegedly stole crops from Palestinian olive groves and drove them away. In Sinjil, settlers were documented herding livestock in an olive grove and damaging crops. In Umm Safa, near Ramallah, a Palestinian family has reportedly been under lockdown for several days due to a gate erected by IDF forces.
