Maccabi Netanya is holding two days of tryouts for loaned players, youth-team graduates and trialists to decide who will join the club’s official training sessions, which begin Wednesday.
Among the players being assessed is former Israeli Premier League midfielder Yadin Lugasi, 27, who came through Ironi Kiryat Shmona. Lugasi played six matches this season for Hapoel Acre, with his last appearance coming in January.
Hapoel Nof HaGalil midfielder Shay Mosinco is also on trial. The 23-year-old scored three goals this season, but could not help his team avoid relegation to Liga Alef.
Winger Majd Khouri has also started the evaluation process. The 21-year-old completed his first senior season and scored 12 goals in all competitions for Hapoel Umm al-Fahm. In addition, youth players Tohar Teana, Ido David, Itay Montielgra, Itay Schwartzman and Lior Revivo took part, along with loaned players Fares Agbaria, Jawad Kadah, Itay and Aviv Kanerik, and Osher Eliyahu.
