Maccabi Netanya is holding two days of evaluations for loan players, youth graduates and trialists to decide who will join the official training sessions starting Wednesday. The club’s head coach, Ronny Levy, is assessing several candidates before those regular sessions begin.
Among the trialists is Yadin Lugasi, a former Israel Premier League player who came through Kiryat Shmona. The 27-year-old midfielder made six appearances this season for Hapoel Akko, with his last match coming in January.
Also taking part is Hapoel Nof HaGalil midfielder Shai Musinco, 23, who scored three goals this season but could not help his team avoid relegation to Liga Alef. Winger Majd Khouri is also being evaluated after a breakthrough senior season in which the 21-year-old scored 12 goals in all competitions for Hapoel Umm al-Fahm.
In addition, Netanya is evaluating youth-team players Tohar Taana, Ido David, Itai Montielgre, Itai Schwarzman and Lior Revivo. The loan players training with the group are Fares Aghbaria, Jawad Kadah, Itai and Aviv Kanarik, and Osher Eliyahu.
