Maccabi Netanya will begin training this week, but before the senior squad returns to the pitch, head coach Ronny Levy and his staff will hold two special training days for players owned by the club who are coming back from loan spells, along with youth-team players who could be promoted to the first team.
The most prominent loanee is left back Fares Agbariyah, who scored two goals and added one assist while helping Hapoel Ramat Gan reach the Premier League. Agbariyah is also drawing interest from his parent club and other teams. Other loanees invited to the sessions are midfielder Joad Kadah, who was loaned to Hapoel Rishon LeZion, midfielder Li Yam Dan, who was loaned to Hapoel Ra'anana, midfielder Aviv Kanerik, who was loaned to Hapoel Acre, and defender Itai Kanerik, who was loaned to the Hapoel Be'er Sheva youth team.
Among the youth players, the main names are Daniel Atlan, Liam Cohen and Alex Talpa, all of whom already appeared for the senior side this season and require a decision from the coaching staff. To that group, Tohar Taana, Idan David and Itai Montielagra will also try to impress Levy and his team.
Netanya's youth department is considered one of the best in Israel, and the expectation is that several more of its graduates will join the first team this season.
