Iran Warns UAE Against Hosting Netanyahu, Citing Gaza

Iran has issued stern warnings to the United Arab Emirates following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent visit to Abu Dhabi. The visit, which was met with swift condemnation from Tehran, prompted sharp statements from Iranian officials.

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, issued a veiled threat, stating that hosting "the executioner of Gaza" would not yield positive outcomes for the UAE, drawing a parallel to the ineffectiveness of U.S. military bases in ensuring security. He urged the UAE to learn from recent conflicts, cease inciting disputes, and refrain from making unfounded claims regarding Iranian islands.

This statement followed an official denunciation from Iran's Foreign Ministry, which condemned Netanyahu's visit to Abu Dhabi and cautioned that Israel's regional presence under current circumstances could lead to "extremely dangerous and disturbing consequences."

Earlier reports had also touched upon the potential implications of Netanyahu's visit, including speculation about a possible meeting with a Libyan representative. However, security sources reportedly denied this, confirming that the Israeli prime minister's discussions were exclusively with UAE leadership.
