Iran Warns UAE Over Netanyahu Visit, Citing 'Dangerous Consequences'

Iran's Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, warning regional countries about the "very dangerous consequences" of Israeli presence. The statement urged nations in the region to be vigilant regarding the "hostility and hatred" demonstrated by Israel towards Iran and other regional states, referencing repeated threats against the Islamic Republic.

Netanyahu's unannounced visit to the UAE occurred last Sunday, where he met with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed. The meeting included senior Israeli security officials, such as the National Security Advisor, Mossad chief, Military Secretary, and Political Advisor. Reports indicate that representatives from ten countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United States, Morocco, Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Oman, and Egypt, were also present at the gathering.

The Iranian reaction comes amid escalating tensions between Tehran and Gulf states that have normalized relations with Israel. The UAE signed the Abraham Accords with Israel in 2020, leading to significant advancements in economic, security, and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

According to reports, the meeting in the UAE was conducted in two phases. Initially, Netanyahu and bin Zayed met privately with Israeli and Emirati representatives, followed by a broader session that included delegates from the other participating countries.
